Reading Olympics Coaches

Want to get involved at LGE? Consider becoming a Reading Olympics Coach! 

Coaches are required to designate one set day a week to come into school and hold a ‘lunch bunch’ with their team where they track the books that are read and run through book Q&A.

Coaches are paired with another parent or guardian so if a coach has a work or personal conflict one week, then it is fine.

Weekly meetings start when we return from winter break to the competition date in April.

Coaches do not have to prepare the Q&A – all Q&A, form trackers and other information and guidance/instruction is provided.

Parents, Grandparents or Guardians are welcome to act as coaches but must have ALL clearances before January!

No practices on half days, or 2 hour delay days.
