back to school picnic

Families are welcomed to a new school year with a picnic-style event by the playground. We will provide free water ice and a DJ. Dinner items will be available for purchase.
Trunk or Treat

This 5th Grade fundraiser provides families with an opportunity to have a fun night out in the LGE parking lot. Families can sign up to decorate their vehicles, and bands can be purchased to go from car to car for candy. Candy donations are always appreciated ahead of the event.
Boosterthon Fundraiser
10/15-10/24/25
During our largest fundraiser of the year, we seek donations from our community to help with our operating budget and a number of big-ticket items. Students aim to reach community-based fundraising goals, and receive both tangible and experience-based community prizes as the school meets those goals.The culminating event is a Fun Run on October 24th. Parents are welcome (weather-dependent) to come cheer on their children on the final day.
Thanksgiving Food Drive

Our school helps the Mattie Dixon Community Cupboard to provide Thanksgiving meals to those in need in our community. Food items will be assigned by grade to be dropped off in our lobby.

Celebrate a night of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math with a number of fun stations that allow kids to engage in hands-on activities.
PJ Book Swap Bash
3/9/26
Families are welcome to come wearing their pajamas to an evening that celebrates books. During the first half of the evening, students (and their families) go to different classrooms to hear books read aloud by school staff members. Afterwards, everyone goes to the gym where children can select books that are “new” to them and take part in crafts and a large raffle. Families are encouraged to donate elementary-aged children’s books that they no longer need on the three mornings preceding the event.
Breakfast with a Buddy

Students are invited to bring one special grownup to join them for a simple breakfast in the school cafeteria from 7:45am to 8:25am one of three mornings which are assigned based on children’s last names.
Talent Show

Students are encouraged to showcase their talents on the auditorium stage or support their friends by attending as an audience member.
Spring Family Picnic

Families can enjoy the spring weather together! We will provide a DJ, water ice, and a few fun activities for free. Food will be available to purchase.
